In Fairhaven, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Massachusetts, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Wash Ashore Car Wash at (774) 425-4505; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is washashorecarwash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 76 reviews, which is a strong result for a car wash in Fairhaven and suggests consistent service.
Fairhaven is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fairhaven follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Do not take your autos here I was paying for the $50 a plan. Every time after leaving here I had issues with scratches and dents and something is on the hood looks like it’s a pile of wax splatted on my hood. The scratches continued to get bigger and I had to complain. They made a appointment for me to fix the 8 inch scratches they denied the dent happen from their and I know it did then when I showed at 8am to have them fix the scratch after weeks of waiting. The detailer was no show the manager told me he was at another site working on another car really at 8am? They said to leave it. No that was not an option or they can call me when he gets done. Nope cancel my account I won’t be returning for the detail or a $50 a mo customer. I asked several customer that was there weeks ago they all said the same thing scratches and dents 1 guy said it was done to his brand new 2026 SUV. DO NOT TAKE YOUR AUTO HERE IT NOT WORTH THE OUTCOME! WASH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

The new Wash Ashore in Fairhaven is exactly what a modern car wash should be. The entire staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful — with a special shoutout to Edyta, who stands out for her warm smile and hands-on guidance through the ordering and payment process. The place is incredibly well staffed with zero waiting. The whole experience is seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone on the SouthCoast!!!

I might have rated this higher, but the wait time is excessive. I brought the car in at 745am at it was not finished by 530pm. I was told that there is only ONE DETAILER for the 2 locations for Wash Ashore. That is totally unacceptable. I will have my other car done somewhere else. The people here are quite personable, so I will only get car washes here from this time forward.

Great value, great service! I absolutely love this car wash. I have an unlimited monthly subscription ($40 per month for the premium package) and it’s worth every penny. In the premium package they pre-wash and rinse your car prior to your actual wash through the automated queue which really helps get all the dirt and road grime off your vehicle.. A DIY detail area is available on the side of the building for drivers who want to vacuum and polish their vehicles. They’ve even given me a complimentary wash when mud inadvertently dripped from the bay door onto my car after it was clean. Highly recommend!

Visitors the car wash today purchased the $24.00 car wash. Was not satisfied with the wash, was refused a rewash was told “our car wash does not scrub hard for paint protection” wow ya don’t say that’s why all this bugs and debris are still on my car. I didn’t make a big deal of it I thought to myself just touch it up at home. Then I decided on the way home to try another car wash. GUESS WHAT!? Everything came off my car in the other car wash. I decided to drive back to get my money back. That was a fail they stated there’s nothing more they can do for me..I will not return
